Thanks Mike
She is advertising kits at 18,500. Are they putting any custom spin on them or is that just mark up and freight?
I have looked into freight rates and it is not 2500 to Souther california.

Thanks

I had a little e-mail conversation with her as well. She was selling the black one complete on E-Bay.
After going to the site and doing a little research they are offering it in kit form as well for 18,500.00
Do you know if they are the west coast dealer or just a customer trying to sell the Hurricane?

General Information / Exotic Cobra

Hello all
I am out here on the west coast and stumbled upon a company selling Cobra kits and after a little research they are Hurricanes.
They call themselves Exotic Cobras
Are they a legitimate company?
They are higher priced than Hurricane by more than what I would estimate the freight cost to be.

Any info would be  helpful.
With all the sales of late it looks like I will be getting a # starting with  2

Thanks
Bob

General Information / Re: so many options!!!!

Finally something I can talk about, I cant wait to pull the trigger and be the newbie that asks all the questions but when it comes to brake performance I do have something to offer.

I own an ASA race truck with a total weight of 2650 Lbs and braking into a corner at 100 mph was just fine with the stock brakes. That is until I installed the Wilwood calipers. Wow what a difference. The pedal effort was 25% less to achieve the same braking and when I needed more it was there. The same pads lasted longer and created less rotor heat. Bigger brake rotors dissipate the heat faster and allow for a more even and consistent brake system.

You will notice it as well in normal road driving but I doubt if you could justify the difference in cost if that is all you are going to use the car for. But if you are ever going to track it it will be money well spent.

When I buy my kit it will have the best brakes on it and not just for better performance they look cool.

Alfredo.
I have to say that you are the one who keeps me coming back to this web site. I check almost daily to see if you have updated your build. You recent pictures didn't let me down. You are crafting a beautiful car and I almost don't want you to finish.
Thanks for the inspiration and making me lean harder towards buying a Hurricane. When you can see what can be done it makes the decision a lot easier.
