I have 1071 and I installed a Ford AOD with a Ford 347 stroker with 438 dyno HP.
and so far all is well!! I have just gotten it on the road and so far no problems
It was a little close on the install but went in easy enough. I had a local build me the tranny
for about 750.00 with shift kits and beefed up! ( he said 450 HP
)
