General Information / Re: same old question
February 11, 2009, 12:08:47 PM
I had decided to go with Hurricane, but by the time I was ready to order everything had started falling apart. I waited a few months and just was not comfortable with the way things seemed to progress (or lack of progression in this case). So I moved on to another vendor. I have been very happy so far with my kit and it is slowly coming along. My advice would be to move along if you want to start building something this year.
Good Luck.

Well .. with the current state of affairs with Hurricane, I would venture to guess that this forum's days are numbered. What say Ye?

General Information / Re: HM 1111 soon to be mine

Congrats, BDF , HM1111 is a good number. Does anyone know what the highest number currently is? I think HM1122 would be a cool number to have too. Guess I better get on the ball and get the wife on board soon.

I agree, being able to view all the information read only would be a good idea. I believe that people could more readily find what they were looking for and make their decisions quicker.

Syrupmaker,

Ryan Cassidy lives in Ga. and his web site has an HM Registry that shows three Hurricanes in GA. Here is the URL to his site. Check out his site when you get the chance.

I think that when you compare the Factory Five to Hurricane you will find that the Hurricane package is an excellent value for the price,  is easier to build, has a higher quality, more accurate body and that Mike and Rich at Hurricane are very courteous and professional.

Mike and Rich can take care of the current postings and disable the account that posted them.
It is a shame someone feels that they need to log onto a forum like ours and post items like that.  :(

Well the London Cobra Show is upon us. Hope to meet some Hurricane owners this trip. I will be looking for Hurricane cars and will frequently visit the Hurricane booth through out the course of the day.

See You There!

Paul,

You beat me to the punch. I was going to post the same question today.
I plan on attending with my wife and daughter.
Last year I met Mike for the first time at the Huricane booth ... This year I hope to meet some Hurricane owners. I currently do not own one, but hope to join the club late this year or early next.

Has anyone considered possibly having all the Hurricane owners and anyone else seeking more information about Hurricane to meet at the Hurricane booth around lunch for a meet and greet.  :-?

General Information / Re: Is a Radio worth having?
June 14, 2007, 12:37:07 PM
I am in the minority, so here is my 2 cents. But when I build mine I am going to put a radio in. Back in the day I had a 1970 Trans-Am with side pipes. Granted I had to turn the radio up quite a bit when I rode around with the windows down, but I really enjoy driving with music. It is very rare for me to not have my radio on to this day and I don
