that is the wheel i used my local tier shop got them for me through tire rack
and yes i got the back spacing i needed

that is exactly what i bought  in 17s  
17 because you have more choices in rubber than with 15s
and 17 in tires are generaly a more perfrmance tire
i went for performance over priod correctness. 8-)

   your right on .  i found the same prob with 15s  but    15s are OE

it "is" what "YOU" want

There are many posts on "the Dark Side" about tire size and such. But to put it simply i have not found a street tire TOO big
when it comes time to order your tires & Wheels i'll be happy to share my calculations :)

Phil    Looks like our cars will be close relatives.  Mine is HM 1069 with a 302 stoker tremic TKO 500 and 3.5 limited slip rear.
My engine is built by a racing engine builder It hits the dino in December. We will see what hp we get 400+  :o
Same size and style tire  w/ hilibrand wheels and stripes w/ pinstripes too

the waiting is the hard part i went to visit mine this weekend
the shop is full and busy Hurricane has a good thing going ;D
i look forward to pics of 600 HP and the rubber it can leave.

beleve it or not the wheeles on the red street version are the wheels you are questioning
i saw the car in person a month ago i could not tell till i was 1 foot away from them

yep they are a very good replica.
