QuoteHi Dave, I got my car with a stage 2 option, so most of the work has been done. I do not have a garage at all, so I bought one of those portable/fabric ones. It is 10 feet wide by 20 ft long. I wish I had a single garage like you do. I think that you will be totally fine. I also think that you wont find a better deal than Hurricane. It has been all positive for me. Good luck, Dan hm1041
Thanks for all the feedback. I was contemplating the stage 2 purchase as well. How much work is left to do on the stage 2? I have to say i am very impressesd by all your comments on the hurricane kit. After about 1 month of looking into kits I had already eliminated the FFR as an option. The donor concept seems to be too much time and effort in the teardown and refurbishing aspect. I have looked at shell, era, backdraft and so on so forth. At this point the hurricane looks to be the best deal I have seen so far. The only concern, as has been stated by others, is the newness of the hurricane motorsports company.
I wont be purchasing the kit for at least 6 months while I arrange the financing and worse yet convince the wife on the purchase. As a side note, I live in the burbs outside of Philadelphia and was wondering if any of the owners lives anywhere within reasonable distance of me. If so would you mind if I could take a look at your car whether it is still being built or already completed? Again thank you for all the feedback.
David
