Build Pictures / Re: HM2017 Build

I have an external fuel pump mounted on the frame but still wanted access to the sending unit so I crafted an access door in the trunk out of aluminum.

Hindsight, I should've made it a little wider.

9 months to build in my garage and 2 more months at the body and paint shop.  All while holding down a 65+ hour a week job. Nights, weekends and I even took my 2 week vacation to work on it instead of going to Vegas.

General Information / Shelby Series 1

Was at a cruise in for a new car museum grand opening and saw this beauty.
It's a Shelby Series 1.  The guy said it's a blast to drive and quick as hell. It is one of the supercharged ones.

1 of only 249 built. All 1999 models.

Here are some shots of the new mechanical throttle linkage and the Gerling cans for the brake system.

I don't see any pics.  I am considering going to a mechanical throttle linkage and need all the help I can get.  I have all the links to others' ideas and mods, like Paul's, but what does Hurricane have to offer?  Is it easily installed as a mod to a first gen car? (1073)

Just bought 5 tickets.  It's not looking good for me to be there this year.  Sorry I will miss the chance to see all of you.  Hopefully everything here is more stable next year and I can go.
