I'm sure it feels good to get it out in a completed form. Looks great.

Finally, a chapter complete. Carpet is all done. I tried trunk pictures but they weren't coming out good with the garage lighting.
Now to get seats and windshield in and I'll be complete other than little things like badges and door weatherstrip.

A little heads up, I just started messing with my trunk pieces tonight. Not sure how different your Gen kit is than mine but they precut some slots for the fuel filler pipe and roll bar so I had to pull that stuff back apart. After doing so and trying to get the pan piece to fit right I ended up cutting the openings loose at one end so in the end there was actually no need to remove the roll bar and fuel filler. Battery will probably have to come out unless I cut around it.

Turned out really nice it looks like.
Did you add binding to some of the edges? I ended up doing that on some pieces. Yours might be different since you have an earlier Gen kit.

Anyone but from Cobra performance (csxparts.com) recently? I sent a request for what diameter their steering wheel center caps are and tried calling them twice and can't get a response. I know I've heard finish line is not good to buy from anymore, not sure if Cobra performance is in the same boat or not.

Looking good Jeff. Quite involved is an understatement haha. I'm in the thick of it too, I think body work was easier.

Really hoping to make it this year. Not sure if I'll have the carpet finished by then or not.

Been making some progress on the carpet. I think it's worse than doing body work.
Nothing glued yet, just test fitting. I have the back wall done now and passenger side past the door.
I'm pretty stumped on how to tackle the wheel wells.

Looks great Jeff. Can't wait to follow along with your carpet. I'm close to starting it as well.

Finally got the car home and started putting some stuff back on. Spent a good 3-4 hours cleaning all the leftovers from sanding dust and whatnot.
Can't wait to get all the correct wheels on.
Got caught in some rain on the way home and haven't gave it a proper wash yet so disregard the dirtiness.

It's definitely rough waiting but it's worth the wait. Mine is going to end up being gone 10 months probably. Not what I expected, but we did put the painted body back on the frame today and the wait is worth it.

What steering wheel center cap are you using? Did it for correctly?
