I would recommend installing a driveshaft safety hoop. The driveshaft is super close to your body with only the fiberglass tunnel protecting you.

I thought he retained HM 1100 for himself.

Not sure what to make of this. Looks like HM 1097 with the blue/white stripes body was unpacked, but never finished and the seller also bought a 289 body as well?

Any reason for an alum dash other than originality?
Been some time since I was at that stage, but I don't recall any dash fitment issues.
