Any changes to the parts used? And will they still fit the series 1 and 2 cars? Glad to see things moving ahead.

Excellent news! Thanks Shane for keeping HM going strong. I have watched them over the years and the owners. Always cool to see what new things fresh minds contribute. And many of us are good with answers when anything is questioned. This forum is a great asset so again thanks for keeping it going. Glenn.

Nice car. Factory build sold in 2006. https://forum.hurricane-motorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=1773.msg16235#msg16235

Sold at Mecum 7-28-23 for $63k with 1002 miles. https://www.mecum.com/lots/1094623/1965-hurricane-motorsports-shelby-cobra-replica/ Think Sam Reynolds chimed in with the Mecum price on a thread here. Not shown in Mecum link.

And now with 1302mi on the speedo clock. Not much mileage added. But really nice car!

I was holding my breath when you were cutting the hood! Glad it worked out. I'm in the same boat (no hood scoop) and good to see that tip. A dropped base bottom air cleaner or a aluminum flat base plate Ford used on the 66 427 Fairlane are options. But can compromise carb space a bit. Anyway keep up the good work!

Using those FATTY Remflex exhaust gaskets. Feet will be toasty will those pipes underneath! And no exhaust leaks....I hope.

**** Wanted to add a note....*** So if you have a newer offshore made engine hoist. There is a GOOD chance if you leave it under pressure, it WILL lose pressure. Mine is from NAPA. So be careful how long things dangle in the air! Have never ever seen that happen. Crap hyd seals.

I'll resize and post more asap. Had to get a mini starter to fit with the header. The ol fatty stock style was not happy with the fit so out it went. I want to use a Ford style solenoid so I have a jumper wire on the starter to bypass one on starter. All about the look!!
