Please all join me in honoring Ken Walker as he has been sworn in as 2012-2013 President of The Texas Cobra Club.

Ken, owner of HM1015, is the third Hurricane owner to hold this prestigious title in the Texas group.

The meet is shaping up very nicely, very nicely indeed Ken.

We are looking forward to mixing and mingling with all guests from near and far.

Richard's  HM1035
Gregg's  HM1037

Anybody else that is all-in for the win?

Of those 8 Hurricanes present last year, 3 participated in the track venue.

This year's participants will be sporting a windshield decal following tech check.
This is the first unveiling of the design... get 'em while you can.

You will be missed, Chris.

All,

Maybe Jay does need to get his pipes cleaned out. I know I could stand a good cleaning after the reaming I got from doing business with Hurricane Texas, ala Ray, Chris and Carl.

I hope the following yarn out of Texas will assist in cooling everyone's jets... This is a story about a fictitious man named Jed and some ficticious businessmen by the sir name Black. This is going to require some work on your part to clearly see the story through to the end.

1. Jed was not ousted from Texas Tornado LLC, but quit his association with the Blacks. This followed the Black's use of Jed's name and reputation in their press release to bolster their position in the competitive golden fleece market. Incidentally, the press release is still up on the Texas Tornado LLC website. The Black's simply wanted him as a figurehead.

2. The Blacks's had no prior involvement with golden fleece and likely TT1003 was the first golden fleece any of them had ever operated.

3. When Tornado was purchased, the Black's were in K-ville investigating another investment deal. When that deal fell through, the investment broker showed them Tornado on a lark.

4. Tornado was acquired as an asset purchase. Up-front purchase price was discounted with the Black's promising royalties on the first double-digit golden fleeces sold.

5. Royalties on the first double-digit golden fleeces were earmarked by the previous owners for customer-service liabilities that the Black's refused to tender.

6. To date, Texas Tornado LLC has not sold any golden fleeces; therefore, there are no earmarks for liabilities.

7. Jed is out tens of thousands of dollars, yes plural tens, for his effort to ensure that three golden fleeces were as wooly as they should be, but Jed doesn't blow his own horn.

8. Texas Tornado LLC still does not have a jig to appropriately sew the pockets for SBF golden fleeces. So buy a BBF golden fleece (if you dare).

9. Folks, this ain't about barely keeping your family fed or the downturn, but rather about the loss of down home values. I have pressed the flesh with the Black's, had the principles of Texas Tornado LLC at my house, and been to the golden fleece factory twice. I started working with them regarding SBF pockets in July '08 and gave up in December '08.

10. Texas Tornado LLC's parent company has its fingers in more than one business dealing where folks are PO'd and reviewing their positions with counsel.
