Dave,
The position on the trans that you need to use is the one that comes in it, I prefer to put a front sump oil pan because I make a hole to screw the oil temp sender.
That color will be great, I am planing to paint another the same but with the flat black stripes.

Paul,
I have a SPF with irs and the HM with 9", my SPF has a 427 Stroker Keith Craft engine with 638 Hp and I already changed the shafts bacause the power, so I think that all depends on what engine with how many Hp you will install and for what do you want the car.

Phil, for me was very important to determine the exacts points to fix the body to the frame, doing this you will be sure that when you move the body and put it again, your adjustments on the gaps will be the same.
Another thing that I did is to sand with careful the upper part of the front fenders because there was to much waves in the gelcoat.
I like the wheels and tires , it looks very aggressive.

You are doing a great work !!!!

Your are doing a lot of work on the body Mike !!!
It is looking really great, it looks a lot better with the back bottom of the body at the same level of the front.
