It's on page 82  of the manual and refered to as pedal mounting plate, and yes I am reverse engineering the frame, and yes I bought the manual too. There are pictures of my build on Club Cobra, I use the same name there also.

Thanks for the help. Carl

Just adding my .02 worth, I have a 460+.060 in my 63 Merc and really did nothing out of the ordinary in the build: line bored,decked .020, iron heads exhaust ported and intake matched ( by myself ),Edelbrok intake and 750 carb, 2in primary hedders, flat top hyper pistons,approx 9.75-1 comp. Comp cams 270H kit, and all balanced, and I can roast the Goodyear Eagles way past 80mph in this big car, and runs on pump gas, it's a great street engine but thirsty, so it would be a fun engine in a Cobra.
Just my .02 Carl.

I really enjoyed talking to Mike at LCS, had a ball looking at all the cars and still think the Hurricane is the best one out there for the money, I'm still trying to convince the wife its a good investment.

Thanks for the come back guys, I agree about doing what I want, its MY car, my 1963 merc is running the American style spokes in front and the slotted wheels in back, thats the way it was done here in Mi back in the day. I get hassled by the younger guys, but they understand I'm old and don't know any better, ha,ha,ha. ;D ;D ;D

Has anyone ever seen the old slotted mags on a corba, I have a pair of 15x7 and a pair of 15x10, I think they may look good, just a thought. I am hoping to order my kit in the fall for a winter build.

General Information / Re: Engines?

I just found a place that gives the weights of Ford engines;

289-302-460#
351W-510#
352- 1959 only 670#
332-428 FE 650#
429-460-640#
these must be for all iron engines, my .025 cents.

I have been looking at the Cobra replicas available and the HM looks like a very good kit, what I need to know is what kind of hassle is involved in putting a healthy 460 into this car?
