Well, after getting distracted by other projects, project issues, and family/life challenges, I am finally to the bodywork stage.  I'm taking the chassis (basically complete) to a tuner in December to get the EFI ironed out, so this is where we are.

So happy to he getting back to work on this car. Between health scares, family priorities,  and distractions, I lost motivation.  But it is back.

Hi Everyone,

This is Shane Williams.  My family is the proud new owners of Hurricane Motorsports (HM).  As I write this, I am sitting in a hotel room in Lafayette, IN. We just finished loading the last truck yesterday (and very sore!).  I am excited to fly home to Phoenix today to continue our HM journey.  Tomorrow we will start unloading, unpacking and getting organized.  I am hoping to be settled in and back up and running in about 30 days.  If not already doing so, please follow us on Instagram (hurricane_motorsports) for updates, etc.  As Paul mentioned, we also own several other brands in the aftermarket automotive and motorcycle industries.  I believe they will compliment HM tremendously....not only in building the kits, rollers and turnkey cars, but in fabricating and machining some of the parts in house.  I want to personally thank each and everyone one of you for staying committed to the HM brand.  I intend to honor that commitment by building some of the best Cobra Replica's available.  Please stay tuned.

Great to hear. Looking forward to many more years of Hurricane.

Was able to spend a couple hours on the car today and mounted some gas struts on the trunk lid temporarily. Bracket on lid is just held with rivets, will change to riv-nuts, but need to get some for thicker material. They are 15" long extended at 20 lbs each, they help raising it some and enough to hold the lid up.

Greg, do you have the part number or where you purchased these gas struts and mounts?  thanks.

Thanks.  I'm probably taking longer than it should on the gaps and hood/trunk/door fitting, but I'm a novice,  and would rather take time and not make mistakes.

The work is starting to pay off

Thanks!  And thanks for watching my nonsense. Finger is fine.  Just took a hunk out of the skin.  it is almost healed now.  Turned out it looked a lot worse than it actually was.
