Hi Everyone,
This is Shane Williams. My family is the proud new owners of Hurricane Motorsports (HM). As I write this, I am sitting in a hotel room in Lafayette, IN. We just finished loading the last truck yesterday (and very sore!). I am excited to fly home to Phoenix today to continue our HM journey. Tomorrow we will start unloading, unpacking and getting organized. I am hoping to be settled in and back up and running in about 30 days. If not already doing so, please follow us on Instagram (hurricane_motorsports) for updates, etc. As Paul mentioned, we also own several other brands in the aftermarket automotive and motorcycle industries. I believe they will compliment HM tremendously....not only in building the kits, rollers and turnkey cars, but in fabricating and machining some of the parts in house. I want to personally thank each and everyone one of you for staying committed to the HM brand. I intend to honor that commitment by building some of the best Cobra Replica's available. Please stay tuned.
Was able to spend a couple hours on the car today and mounted some gas struts on the trunk lid temporarily. Bracket on lid is just held with rivets, will change to riv-nuts, but need to get some for thicker material. They are 15" long extended at 20 lbs each, they help raising it some and enough to hold the lid up.
