So I am considering replacing my carburetor on my cobra with a Sniper EFI system.
Has anyone installed one of these in the cobra and if so how did you handle an in tank pump?
There is a spot on the tank for a return line but it is not plumbed to the bottom of the tank so there's a major risk for vapor issues if I just plug into that line and let the return fuel freefall into the tank.
When installing an in tank pump do you just drill another hole in the top of the gas tank and install the fuel pump there? What do you do with the fuel level sending unit?
I used an Aeromotive Stealth system for the pump and return. The system mounts thru the top and you can position it that the existing level gauge will still work. You have to set it off-center to clear the internal baffling in the Hurricane tank.
