Title: Aluminum Firewall option...
Post by: aarvig on September 18, 2017, 03:55:40 PM
Hey guys,
Getting ready to put the aluminum firewall together and wondering if anyone with the 20xx gen cars has some photos of the firewall aluminum in place.  I'd appreciate it!

Here's mine.  I only have the single piece aluminum firewall.  I just installed it over the fiberglass.  No insulation.

Russ!  Who are you using to host your web photos?

I reduce the size then upload them directly to the forum.  I keep my photos on my computer at home backed up on a portable drive.  I use IrfanView to reduce the size.  It's a free photo viewer/manipulator program.  No hosting.  I'm not that techno smart.

Aaron,
All I have is the upper portion if the firewall aluminum. I believe Mike and Mark have the full aluminum panels. I glued some leftover trans tunnel heat shield to the back of mine then attached to the firewall with pop rivets. Mine was long enough to where I bent a lip to extend under back towards the rear to match the angle of the tunnel.
