I know there were variations in many aspects of the original Cobra models (Shelby and AC versions) over the years.

The basic body shape of an S/C and a street car are essentially the same, few minor variances. Many of the street cars were modified to become S/C variants since they commanded a little more $$$.
Depending on how you build the kit, you can do either a 427 S/C or a 427 Street version. They offer both. The primary difference is the exhaust. If you really get into detail; taillights, dash, ash tray, oil cooler, bumpers, hood, etc.
The red car on the website is Jason's street car. Has an underslung exhaust system. Really a good looking car. Likely to be in London this year, along with the factory car
Bottom line, the basic body is the same, with a few minor changes.

The Hurricane mold came from an original CSX car. The particular car has been narrowed to about one of three cars. We are not at liberty to disclose these yet - hopefully in the very near future.
Until then, it was splashed from an original. The S/C and street cars are basically the same thing, again with just minor variations. If you really look into the details of these cars, every one of them was a little different from the next. There are all kinds of variations. In reality, each one was hand built and if a problem arose, they worked around it. We end up with 1000 "different" "exactly the same" cars.

Even on the orginals, there was never two that were 100% alike, all the bodies differed a bit here and there, not even perfectly symetrical from side to side. All the original's bodies were hand built so that was why no two were ever exactly the same. Visually, they were close to the same given the 50/50 test. ;)
