I thought Hurricane Motorsports was going to be up and running in September. Well, it's now the middle of November, and I see nothing about any cars being sold. What's the hold up?
I suspect Chris has more irons in the fire than just this one....but that would just be a guess.
I sent them an e-mail asking the same question but got no reply. Almost feels like the old hurricane operation when they were ready to bail. Hope not though, sure would like the opportunity to talk with them before I put a deposit down with another co.
They promptly answered an email I sent asking when they plan to resume taking orders. The note said sometime in January.
I find it very interesting that Chris White hasn't logged onto this site for months (neither has his dad) but he's always on his MySpace site. I wouldn't hold my breath on that Jan. date (if ever). ::)

I'd suspect that moving an operation like was developed in Lee's Summit to TX must have been quite the project, and Chris does have a racing business to which he must also attend.
IMHO, it would be financial folly to invest the kind of $$ it must have cost to procure the Hurricane product line and name and then do nothing with it, and I doubt Chris is that foolish.....personally, I kind of like the idea that he would wait until all the bugs are worked out before he starts taking orders.
It's nice to know that there are some folks out the that see "the visions of sugar plum fairies dancing in their heads"

I kinda like the mushroom theory but then we still have the forum but I think that is being maintained by Mike and Rich, just hope it doesn't expire on us. If you guys haven't signed on to the address thread and downloaded it lately, it might be a good idea just incase one day you try to sign in and its like Hurricane Motorsports seems to be.....gone with the wind....ya all hang in there, 2009 is going be slow but it will get better.
Business relationship with Hurricane? thats the whole idea, people want to buy the product, but get no replys! If they are having issues with the set up or production, just come out and say something, people will understand, and most likley be willing to wait for the car they want. I know I would but I sure dont feel comfortable with the way this is being handled! If the forum is shut down, so be it! Guess that will answer all our questions wont it.....
