Title: Exotic Cobra
Post by: McRacing on February 12, 2007, 03:40:48 PM
Hello all
I am out here on the west coast and stumbled upon a company selling Cobra kits and after a little research they are Hurricanes.
They call themselves Exotic Cobras
Are they a legitimate company?
They are higher priced than Hurricane by more than what I would estimate the freight cost to be.

Any info would be  helpful.
With all the sales of late it looks like I will be getting a # starting with  2

Thanks
Bob

I meet her at pomona last summer and she said that she will build them to sell she had a black one that was about 90% done.

I had a little e-mail conversation with her as well. She was selling the black one complete on E-Bay.
After going to the site and doing a little research they are offering it in kit form as well for 18,500.00
Do you know if they are the west coast dealer or just a customer trying to sell the Hurricane?

Is there a Hurricane registery with the names of the original buyers anywhere?  Is she selling it as a Hurricane or swapping names around a claiming it as her product?

She is legit.  She is a dealer for Hurricane in Southern California.  Mainly specializing in turn key or turn key minus cars.  She has a car in this months Diesel Power magazine.  Hope this helps.

Thanks Mike
She is advertising kits at 18,500. Are they putting any custom spin on them or is that just mark up and freight?
I have looked into freight rates and it is not 2500 to Souther california.

Thanks

Maybe its time to add a new distributor over here in the FarFar East, looks like a profitable business model to me.  :)
