Serious about getting ready to order, do you have any idea what a completed car is worth, only looking for a %, say its worth 90% of what you have into it?
Rims? looking for Helibrand type, any good venders out there? Price?
Gear Ratio????? thinking 3.55's, mostly going to be a cruiser and hard street 0-70 runs, 1/4 mile runs, set up- 351W, 400 hp TKO 500
Congratulations, I think you're making a very good choice and won't regret it. Started my build in July, very pleased and loving it!
I bought the Vintage 17" replica wheels with my kit from Hurricane. Same price as going to Vintage directly, but saved on sales tax and delivery by buying from Huricane.
Gear ratio? Many of have debated this long and hard. I'm running 3.55s, as probably are most of us, but there is something to be said for something in the 3.20s due to the light weight of the car and HP.
Frankly, I wish I had gone with 3.20s.

Well, its hard to say what a completed car is worth. So many variables involved.
I went with the Vintage wheels too. They look great. If you want a bolt on Halibrand style wheel instead of the knock offs you could check out Team III.
I went with a 3:55 ratio too. That seems to be a popular choice. Like Matt said, the 3:20 should work well too, and with the weight and HP would be a good choice.

You can also go to Vintage wheel works for bolt on Halibrand look alikes. They are about 300 cheaper when said and done than the Team III. I paid $1700 including shipping and the 4 knock off center caps.
They were very easy to work with. I ordered last friday and will have them this Friday. I went with the 17 x 9 and 17 x 11 both with 4" backspace to accomodate 315/35/ZR17 and 275/40/ZR17 tires from Goodyear. Eagle F1 GS-D3
I guess I just like the lug nuts versus the knock offs, not sure why. :-/

Sounds like a nice set-up. If you are going to run a TKO 500, I would definately go with a 3:20 or higher (numerically lower) rear end as the first gear in a TKO 500 is 3.27 vs. 2.87 in a TKO 600. I drove alot of different ratios and talked to alot of people before choosing my set-up. I wanted to have usable first and fifth gears.

Engine 400 HP 351w, Street use, 0-60, and cruising.
I'd suggest the 600. The TKO 500 would be able to handle your HP/TQ, but the close ratios of the TKO 600 are much better suited to our low weight, high HP cars.

I bought my entire setup from Mike Forte . . . his scattershield with mounted clutch slave, clutch, TO, fork and TKO 600. I negotiated free shipping for the package (but don't tell him I told you) and am very pleased with it.

The wilwood with the kit won't bolt on? did u gut put it on the garage shelf??
The slave cyl. included in the kit will work fine. You will have to fabricate a bracket to mount it. Takes about $5 worth of steel and 5 mins. with a welder. When you purcahse your kit, you will have access to the owners side of this forum. There is a ton of info. on the dark side. :)

The wilwood unit supplied with the kit works fine. I went with Forte's unit because I liked the integrated setup and I figured it wasn't much more expensive than a scattershield alone. Oh, and I don't weld!!!
And Jim's right about the owner's forum. That was a great surprise and a real added bonus of buying a Hurricane. It is very active with thousands of posts on every aspect of the build. I never worry about posting a dumb question and all the guys, who are far more experienced gearheads than I, are always there with answers and how they approached a given step. As Jim said, there are many posts on this specific topic - how to mount the wilwood slave.
