Title: drive train options installed ---question
Post by: rvider on September 01, 2006, 08:43:21 PM
Has anyone installed a fuel injected 5 litre mustang motor into a Hurricane replica, including all engine management electronics (crank position sensors etc.) and factory computer? How did the computer integrate into the supplied wiring harness? How did the installation go?

I'm not sure if anyone has installed an FI engine from a Mustang or not but I don't see why it couldn't be done. Just a quick-think about it, you would probably want to use the Mustang harness or an aftermarket harness set up for the FI.
One owner is currently building one using a mass-flow system but I don't know much about it to be honest. I'm a carb guy for the most part.
Call Mike Arps and talk to him about your plans and see what he thinks.
