Just a word to the wise (I'm obviously NOT wise!) Hopefully you can view the attached pictures and see the result of HM1001 rolling out of my garage, crossing the street, and ending up in the yard of a house down the hill. The car was backed into my garage, running, brake set, and I was working on the PCV valve. After a couple of minutes, it decided to go for a ride, and nothing I tried stopped it! I will obviously be using wheel chocks in the future........
The car is currently back at Hurricane, and Mike, Jason, and Rich have been extremely supportive in both the rebuilding of my car and providing me much needed mental counseling during my nightmare!
Sorry, another picture.................
OH MY GOD!
I'm speechless.
Oh Man!!! I'm so sorry!
Good advice about blocking the tires. I'm guilty of offten not using them.
I do have to admit that I like how low the drivers side looks in the rear! Just not how it was achived.
Larry
Would this be the first "accident" involving a Hurricane?
Larry
Man that sucks! :'(
The good news is, the neighbors tree was already dead, but luckily it was alive enough to stop the car. The bad news is it looks like the wife is waiting up at the garage for you!
Man, I'm sorry about your car. :'( :'( :'( I know that was a terrible feeling when there was nothing you could do but watch it roll away. Fortunately, no one was hurt, physically anyway.
Mike
Those pics. make me sick to my stomach. I can't begin to imagine your pain. At least nobody was hurt and the car is fixable.
