Title: mod motor in 1075
Post by: berzerko on July 29, 2007, 02:21:34 PM
Here are some updated pics

whats complete
 brakes and clutch blead
 fuel pump run
 harness roughed in including dash
 oil lines complete
 pin drives installed

I figured some of the factory five guys would like to see a 4.6 dohc motor in a hurricane since I'm the 2nd person to do it
no real issues yet last thing to do is run the coolant lines which will be challenging since these motors have a by-pass line run off a remote thermostat(beacuse of the aluminum block)to avoid hot spots

I'm running a sullivan intake with a 670 street avanger carb utilizing the stock coil packs

It's alive !!!!

After some fussing with the msd timing and map curves it fired up  and idled well.
I was worryed for a bit there that the motor was no good

time to throw the seats and wheels on and go-carting!!!
