Dean, thanks for posting the pics. Great job...fantastic car! I'm happy with the "original" Hurricane, but as you mention and I saw on the factory car at London, there are many very nice improvements on the current models. Wish I could see your car in person.

I've spent a lot of time studying the original cars. When you look at the engine compartment of Dean's car, it is as close as you can get without spending stupid money on a CSX????

The changes to the footbox, strut braces, brake system has made all the difference in the world. I'd recommend Hurricane take some shots of the car and post them on the website. Those looking for accuracy in a build will appreciate what they get with a Gen II car.

Nice job, Dean

Paul

ps: before anyone asks why the different seats, Dean is one of those go-fast guys. The driver's seat is a custom racing seat he installed instead of the normal seat, like the passengers seat.  The seats have also been changed to a newer style and day and night difference in the appearance and the comfort.

Dean, I agree with Paul, WOW !     :D
What a great example of build quality, personal style and authentic accruacy. Your Hurricane build set the bar much higher.   ;)

You've created an amazing specimen there, Dean.  Great job!  I remember that your goal was to replicate a specific CSX (CSX3155, I think).  Is that autograph on the dash authentic or a facsimile faithful to the original?

It's pretty easy to get an autograph before you put the vinyl on the dash. He has a charity that you can make a $250 donation to and he will sign car parts. Just send the vinyl before it is on the dash with a box made from masking tape marking where you would like it signed.
