I was having trouble posting pics on the old site so I'll try again here. I am almost done. I only need to install the oil cooler and finish carpet in the trunk.

roll bar and roll bar bezels
Good front end shot. you can see the panels in the nose that finish off the inner front end and the wire mesh that covers the brake ducts that i ran my foot box fans from.
A good rear end shot
A decent front end shot
A good shot of the pushers.
A few shots of the engine bay, radiator shroud, girlings, the ducts for the foot box fans ects. You can see that i wanted to keep the firewall and foot boxes in the engine bay completely clear so no wires, no MSD box, no nothing.
Well, thats it for now. Not the best pics but it gives everyone an idea of where HM 1110 sits today.
Bill
That really looks good. You've done a great job!
The Billboards look great on your car. Love the color also....
WOW ! Your car is "BAD TO THE BONE", only a fool would want to race you...but there's lots of fools. ;)
Great job, Bill
LOVE IT - fantastic. Can't wait to order mine.
Sure looks race ready Bill. Nicely done all the way around.
What size hose did you use for the fresh air to the footboxes?
ken
Awesome! Glad to see that HM1110 is almost ready. HM1111 has been waiting for it's older brother to ride with. Keep it going. You may naver want to get out of the car once you start driving.
BDF :D
Ken, I think the hoses are the 4" aluminum hose that you get at Home Depot. They are fairly stiff. I liked it better then the orange coily hose the fresh air kit came with. Felt it would last longer and hold up to any residual heat.
BDF, I got the car back from paint last June. It was about 6 weeks to get her back on the road from there. I've got about 1200 miles on her now.
Looking forward to seeing more photos of the beast when its on the road on a regular basis, thanks for the info... ken
Great looking car!!! The fresh air kit you mention where did you get it and is it always open or cable pull/push shut or?
The fresh air kit was done by a guy named Cobra Earl on the Factory Five Forum site. If you do a search for Cobra Earl Fresh air kit on yahoo you will find it. It comes with the push/pull vents with a cable. I didn't run the cable because i want them open all the time. If i want to close them I can reach down and just close the vents by hand. The blowers are mounted inside the wheel wells. I rarely turn the blowers on. When they are on they move alot of air. I really have no issues with heat in the footboxes with the vents open and just the air pushing through on it's own.
Bill
Thanks for the insight. The past SPF Cobras I had include fresh air vents but no blowers and seemed to work well just to keep the air moving in the cockpit...
Looks great!! Are you carrying a towel to wipe off all the drool marks? LOL ;D
Looks great!! Do you carry a towel to wipe off all the drool marks? LOL ;D
Nice!
Nice job!
Bill, did you make it to Johnny Carson Park last Sunday with Matt Erieg?
Matt said there would be several Cobra's at the Burbank Roadkings Carshow that day (13th.)
Matt, Craig Baker and I were there last year..fun time for cobra's. ;)
Bill
Nope, HMS1053 was the sole Hurricane in Johnny Carson Park this year. There were 4 of us that arrived to the show late, but certainly made an entrance with "code 3" police escort (lights and siren)! Looked for your brother, but didn't see him.
