Bob,
You car looks great. I enjoyed following your build with every post.

My wife and I finished the season by driving HM-2018 to the local theater to watch Ford vs. Ferrari. We parked in front of the theater and it was a real crowd pleaser.

This summer we drove to Lincoln, Nebraska to see a car show at Speedway Motors corperate. With some encouragement from others we entered our car in the show. To our suprise we won first place in the Replica Class.  We were not able to get the trophy in the trunk, so we stood it up on the floor of the car for the 50 mile drive home on I-80. 😊

Over the two short seasons since completion we have clocked 8K fun and trouble free miles.

This car is a blast to drive and own.
Thank you Hurricane Motorsports

Have enjoyed reading both of your builds, still planning here but hope to start one this year.

Bob, plans for paint?

Thanks, Greg.  No paint in the foreseeable future.  Have a daughter's wedding to pay for this year, and the wife has restoration/renovation plans for our 100 year old farmhouse....  and we are just having too much fun driving the cobra ....  ;)

Hello everyone. Long time member here but a new Hurricane owner. HM-2027 is slated for delivery late July early Aug. Very excited!! It'll be a street model. A 65 427 FE. Block at the shop as we speak getting checked and machined. 4 speed toploader. 9" rear. No pictures as of yet. But will start a build thread when it's delivered. Jason's old street model has stuck in my mind for years. Love the look. Cheers all and Happy 4th!! Glenn.

Thank you Russ!! I've been reading in the owners section getting lots of good info!! I had a FFR years ago. Ever since the Hurricane came out it's been top of my list. Great bunch here. Alec at Hurricane has been super to deal with too!

Oooh a street cobra!  I've always loved those, and I considered it very hard.  It will certainly be a rare build.   Can't wait to see it.
