Hurricane had a great show in London this year and a big thanks goes out to Paul Proefrock and Dave Firebaugh for dispalying their cars with us.  We had a great set up and a lot of activity.  I cannot tell you how many times we heard "what is that red color?"  Dave's car draws a crowd.  It's candy apple red with a gold base, by the way.  Here are some pictures.

What is everyone's plan for Friday?  There are several different cruises and it would be fun if the Hurricane's all went on one together.  Here is the link with the options.

The Hocking Hills, Clifton Mill or Castles and Caves look good.  I am not familiar with any of these so does anyone have any input?  I do want to have the Hurricane Factory car at the Quaker Steak and Lube event at about 4:00 or a little after.

HM-2001 is finished and has had a pretty good shakedown.  The black with titanium stripes really turned out nice!  Here are a couple of pictures of the completed car and we just loaded it in the Hurricane Trailer and are off to the London Show.  Hope to see you there!

Here is the newly redesigned hinge with a much more period correct look and it is heavy duty enough to provide great stability for the doors.

We have completed installation of the fresh air foot box system.  These photos show the cable controlled open/close paddle assembly mounted in the top of the foot boxes and hose running from those through the fenders.  The control knobs on the dash are simply push/pull to open and close air flow.  The blowers will be switched independently so you don't need to run the passenger fresh air when it is not necessary.  I hope you like it.  We plan on offering this upgrade on the new cars and to any of the current Hurricane owners who are interested.

Here is the fresh air hose from the front port flange attached to the blower fan and then through the fender.

We will be putting new valve covers on also, we just have not gotten to that yet.  After putting the fresh air foot boxes in HM-2002 we decided to put them in the factory car too.  Here are shots of the front fresh air ports.  More to come on the fresh air foot box system.

The carpet is being installed and looks outstanding.  Here are some updates.  Yes, the padding was cut out by the e-brake for better gripping room, it was not relocated.

We are very pleased to announce that Dean Lampe's car has been delivered and he is very excited about his new Hurricane.  He will be putting his personal touches on the car and will continue with updates on his Club Cobra build thread.  Thanks to all who helped keep the energy level up on his thread.  Last I checked he had over 13,000 hits.

Well we are back to work on the factory car and I wanted to post some updates.  The body has been installed on the frame and the padding and carpeting is being installed.  One item of note is the cutout by the e-brake to allow better clearance for gripping and also the approximately 1 inch gap left on the tunnel to allow the seem to fit evenly.
